Care Instructions
Fabric Care Guide
Preserve the Texture. Extend the Journey.
At Keebool, we select premium natural fibers and rugged materials built to last. Proper care ensures your favorite pieces maintain their authentic character, fit, and durability for seasons to come.
🌿 1. Linen
Breathable, durable, and naturally refined.
The "Do’s" (Recommended)
-
Gentle Wash: Use lukewarm water (< 40°C / 104°F). Hand wash or use a machine's delicate cycle.
-
Mild Detergent: Use neutral soaps. Avoid bleach or optical brighteners to protect the natural fiber colors.
-
Quick Soak: Limit hand-wash soaking to a maximum of 10 minutes.
-
Shade Dry: Air-dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
The "Don'ts" (Avoid)
-
No Fabric Softener: Linen naturally softens with every wash; softeners can clog the fibers.
-
Avoid High Heat: High temperatures cause shrinkage and weaken the natural structure.
-
No Direct Sunlight: Drying in direct sun can cause brittleness and fading.
🛠️ 2. Denim
Rugged, classic, and ages with character.
The "Do’s" (Recommended)
-
Wash Less: To preserve the unique indigo dye and fit, wash your denim only when necessary.
-
Inside Out: Always turn jeans inside out before washing to prevent fading and streaking.
-
Cold Water: Use cold water to maintain the fabric's integrity and prevent shrinkage.
-
Air Dry: Hang your denim to dry. This prevents the breakdown of elastic fibers (if any) and maintains the original silhouette.
The "Don'ts" (Avoid)
-
Never Bleach: Bleach will ruin the authentic wash and weaken the heavy-duty cotton.
-
Skip the Dryer: High heat in a dryer can cause denim to shrink and lose its shape.
-
Don't Overcrowd: Wash denim alone or with similar colors to avoid dye transfer.
🧵 3. Cotton & Waffle Knit
Soft, breathable, and versatile utility.
The "Do’s" (Recommended)
-
Standard Wash: Machine wash with like colors in cool or lukewarm water.
-
Flat Dry for Knits: For our Waffle Knit items, we highly recommend drying flat on a towel to prevent the textured weave from stretching out of shape.
-
Medium Iron: If needed, use a medium heat setting while the garment is slightly damp for the best results.
The "Don'ts" (Avoid)
-
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Strong chemicals can break down cotton fibers over time, leading to holes or thinning.
-
Don't Over-Dry: Remove from the dryer while slightly damp if you must use one, as over-drying leads to permanent wrinkles and stiffness.
⭐ Pro Tip for Vintage Utility Wear
Our Washed Cotton and Denim pieces are designed to develop a "patina" (a unique aged look) over time. This is the mark of high-quality, authentic utility wear. Embrace the natural fading—it tells the story of your journey.
